Incredible Katy Perry Cover of Firework by “Karmin”
The only thing that could make this cover better is if Karmin was also playing the piano part. I hope she arranged this because if she did then she has some serious talent. I absolutely love Katy, but the first time this girl looked at the camera and smiled I got chills. Not to mention, I hate most covers of this song. The main reason being that nobody can do it better than Katy Perry and the original is already such a great song. The other reason is that most covers of this song are arranged the same way and sound exactly the same. But this one is unique and done extremely well.
Good Design Last
In 2011 Spagnola & Associates faced the challenge of designing their new office space. They created a 20’ wide dimensional wall to stimulate ideas and complete the office. 2804 pencils were hammered into pre-drilled holes in the panels. The completed wall reads, in custom designed letters, good design lasts. The entire process is documented in a stop motion video.
